Overnight working with Ragna

I was looking to represent the "man on duty" with a new model called "Ragna".  This is like training fro me, as focusing on details means that next time I'll have already in mind what went wrong, so I'l skip the mistakes.

While it looks quite basic it tooks me a lot of renders to reach what I was looking for.

But I'm really happy with 2 of them.  My favs ?  #26 and #1...

The Long Earth (the girl in the train)

This story was inspired to me from a book, or a serie of books started by 'the Long Earth'  from Stephen Baxter. It was based on the stepper, a device to move to the next dimension just by doing one step.

I spent quite sometimes looking on how the other renderers are trying to figure out movement. Most of the time they don't do anything than base rendering; some blur the pictures a bit but that's all. I wanted to show you some "studies" here.
