After the first GIRL series and THE RULE OF DARKNESS, Girl had become used to dealing with demons and that's when I thought of this painting. Actually, I thought of the title before doing the painting and I did this for myself just to experiment with painting flames. It was later used as the cover for NBM's reprint of The rule of Darkness.

Using colored pastel board brings a different look to a painting, and it's more difficult to work with. Make to many errors and you'll destroy the board.
