I rigged this background character first to figure out my puppet style for this project. I'll be doing it fairly freeform. No separated parts in the arms so I can hand-draw them and make them noodly!

I finally gave everyone last names. lmao. Here's some fun facts!

- "Hayseed" was originally gonna be "Tumbleweed" but Sheriff Tumbleweed is an MLP character

- "Burrowitz" is Burro (for donkey) and Witz (because he might be jewish???)

- "Hackney" is a horse that's suitable for work :)

- "Herdwick" is a breed of sheep that Lloyd is not

- Sylvester is a dumped design ...

Todd, Shawn, and Joy haven't been adjusted TOO much here. A couple things here and there to clean them up.

Then on the right, Boomstick is all the hell different, as is Lloyd.

Lloyd is in a vest now because i think it better fit the time period? dunno. Might change it later.

so basically i finished the storyboard for this sheriff hayseed short today (unnamed)

Tuned to amateur voice acting it clocks in at right about 10 minutes long

and includes over 800 individual boards
