did a little light reading once we finished, including these Guardian articles I'll link below where Ian Fleming talks about how Pussy Galore was meant to be a lesbian and that she βonly needed the right man to come along and perform the laying on of hands in order to cure her psycho-pathological maladyβ.
I can't remember who said it felt like an assault on a queer character but that's actually exactly what they were going for apparently!
