2024-07-16 11:53:53 +0000 UTCI'm not in the fandom or anything, so this is singular speculation on my part, but I think she stayed and lived the 15 years this time, maybe because she wasn't wearing the watch to send her back. That explains her being friends with Tae Sung all this time but there not being any romantic relationship. I also am not sure if she moved earlier than she did in the initial timeline, the only context clue for that is Sun Jae's shoulder brace and he had multiple shoulder injuries. I am glad that Granny gave us the thesis statement of the series, and it's honestly a really beautiful one. It means that not only this Sun Jae is saved, but all the previous Sun Jae's who died of loving her have been saved too, because their experiences all live on. I watched up to episode 12 or so previously and then watched along with you guys, and this show so far is really bringing it home. I like it more than I did when we voted on it.

2024-07-16 11:49:45 +0000 UTCIn defence of the brother, I thought he'd stop playing the numbers (which would be the sensible thing to do irl after 15 years) but him sharing the numbers on the one day they hit makes me think maybe this is fate holding him back a little? $400k is better than a slap in the face, and his wife doesn't have to be mad at him, so I'm happy for them.
