Early Look: Jude βοΈ + December Plans! New video, animating, & more π

Here is an early look at my newest drawing, Jude Duarte from The Cruel Prince book series! I looove imagining what book characters look like and then translating my imagination into a drawing like this βΊοΈ Jude is one of the coolest warrior female leads ever and I wanted to capture her fierceness! π§‘
I recorded a new video today showing how I add rendering detail to a drawing thatβs already somewhat βdoneβ but feels like it needs something more to make it feel completely finished! Hereβs the before and after:)
For me, the first image is one of the hardest parts of the drawing process to move past and turn into something that looks clean and done, so Iβll show you how I go through that process:) Stay tuned for the video, Iβll be posting it soon for all Big-Hearted Butterflies & Devoted Dragonflies! π₯°

Plans for this month:
Last month my goal was to get outside my comfort zone and draw more cinematic scenes, and I ended up making a bunch of landscape style drawings that I never thought I would do π₯²π November was full of challenges and new discoveries in my art, and this month I want to keep making more scenes like that π₯°
I also downloaded Procreate Dreams, and Iβve been playing with animation! And omg animating is SO MUCH WORK but I kind of really love it at the same time π If youβve been watching my stories, you probably saw Iβve been animating a scene from pride and prejudice π₯°
Maybe when Iβm done animating it I can post it as a mini video here for you guys haha π Have any of you tried procreate dreams yet??

I wish it was a little cheaper!! π₯² I think thereβs a lot that they need to add to it still though, like the lasso feature, custom brushes, and the layer system needs to be tweaked so I hope they fix those things soon. Other that that though, itβs a really cool animating software and great for procreate users!!
