🚨Contrary to popular belief, although Philipe the Bold banned Gamay from the Cote d’Or, he didn't banish Gamay to Beaujolais. Remember this is all happening in 1395 and Gamay does not appear to have become Beaujolais’ grape of choice until the 17th century! ⁣
